About:
Dr. Adrian Greenstein is a world renowned colorectal surgeon with particular expertise in Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. He is a Fellow of the Royal
Colleges of England as well as the American College of Surgeons. His training included stops in South Africa, England and Boston prior to starting a surgical practice at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York where he serves as Professor of Surgery. He has particular interest in reconstructive ulcerative colitis surgery- Total Proctocolectomy and construction of J Pouch with Ileoanal anastomosis, as well as complex fistulizing and obstructing Crohn's disease. In addition to the extensive surgical experience he has accumulated over a period of more than 30 years, he has contributed over 140 manuscripts to the peer reviewed journals of the medical literature, the majority of which have been on Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
