Before that time she spent a year as a visiting professor of dermatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor of dermatology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Quinby graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a B. S. in biomedical science in 1994. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1998.
