About:
Dr Lowenstein is an addiction specialist. He currently specializes in the both the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults, and in the
treatment of opiate addictions with SUBOXONE. Dr. Lowenstein is Board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He is certified to treat and prescribe for opiate addiction with SUBOXONE. He has directed numerous psychiatric inpatient hospital, Residential Treatment Facility, Partial Hospital, and Outpatient community mental health center programs for children and adults in the Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Monessen, and New Kensington areas. He has practiced psychiatry for the past 44 years. Dr. Lowenstein is a Life Fellow of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and is a Life Member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry
