After graduating from Midwestern University's medical school as class salutatorian, Dr. Fanter went on to train in orthopaedic surgery at Ohio University's affiliated hospitals in Toledo, OH. His subspecialty training includes a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, GA and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at The Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship.
