The list gets long. Reading and a little writing have to be at the top and travel remains a favorite thing for both Anne and I. When our first boy was 10 months we went to Ireland with himj, The list is long. Anne and I both love to travel. When our oldest boy was 10 months old we traveled to England and Ireland thinking it would be our last chance and the best time because he couldn't walk or talk yet. On the trip he started to do both. He said he first word at Speaker's Corner in London and actually he started running, not walking. The Irish were appalled. When the boys were growing up travel was difficult so we compensated by hosting foreign exchange students, about 12 of them. We formed a particular friendship with a family in Madrid who also has four boys and visits have been made in both directions. We also love to read, entertain and improve the centerpiece in our life, the Historic Sauer-Adams Adobe across from Mission San Luis Obispo. Almost by default I'm involved with history and I love sharing what I know of SLO with other.
