Biography:
David Banko joined the firm in 2013 as a law clerk practicing in the area of Intellectual Property. As an associate attorney, David brings considerable legal and technical experience to the intellectual property team.
Bar Admissions: David was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2014. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Arizona.
Education and Honors: David earned his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006, and received his Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2013. During law school, David competed in international moot court competitions as far away as Hong Kong, and worked on international policy research for the use of drones in Pakistan. Additionally, he worked with the Attorney General’s Satellite Office helping victims of consumer fraud.
Professional Activities and Experience: David is a former law clerk of JacksonWhite and Intellectual Property law firm, Booth Udall. He also worked as a Student Attorney at the Lisa Foundation Patent Law Clinic, obtaining patents and trademarks for pro-bono clients. David has lived and worked in Taipei, Taiwan, teaching English as a Second Language prior to attending law school.
